Go the Highlanders

Mr Friend came and asked if we would like to get some photos to send to Josh Dickson.
He of course had props (flags)  and we loved getting photos taken.
Mr Friend can always have a great yarn with Thomas after a Highlanders weekend.

Tom dressed in his Highlanders gear for the Waisaki Naholo song.
Tom's group did a great job at Assembly with their song and dance. Well not really a dance , more of a scrum. Nice hat Tom.

Term 1 Week 11

Well we have made it to the end of Term 1 at Balmacewen.
Its been a great term and Tom has settled into it very nicely.

His Turangawaewae Piece came together really well and he was very happy with the result.
He also received a teachers award for such a terrific effort.

Well Thomas Cargill have a great break and I look forward to seeing your bright cheerful smile on day 1 of term 2.
